Alphabet City
Day one: The students are divided into four groups, each get a hood around the cross that makes up Alphabet City.
I brief the students and tell them the basic requirements of Alphabet City: A Skyscraper, Slum, Manhole covers, street signs (in the end, none of them actually made street signs) and so on. Some of them start interpreting the city theme wvery, very litteraly, they concentrate on the bits that a city is made up off, train station, airport, harbour and so on, but Mette and I tell them to think of it in more abstract terms and they plan on.
