Happy-Hiding
Three day workshop with a simple brief: Hide something flat that becomes a 3D object that makes the finder happy.
This workshop was arranged by the students and took place over a long weekend (now dubbed "Long Workend") and participation was not mandatory, so to see around thirty students showing up was wicked.

Over the workend some of them struggled - which was the point, and a few gave up, but feedback and crit continues online, so my hope is that they've learnt from failing. The mood was excellent as the students were free to geek out on whatever subject they liked - resulting in Metal Gear Solid pop-up, porn pop-ups, cardboard Tetris, moustaches and pets.

We made an evening of inspiration that consisted mostly of youtube videos and button making - I'll expand and formalise that concept next time.
