A History of the World in 100 Objects and happen upon a shop in Great Russel Street that sells bank notes and coins - I've always been aware of this shop, but never interested, but I pick up their catalogue and now I know about Test Money and strange regional currencies, I know the aesthetics of coin photography and and I know about strange German Notgeld.
